Native Custom Controls
Custom control developers can create a control that can be consumed easily by report authors by having it appear in the toolbox while editing a report. An author can use the control without needing to know the module path and is as simple to insert as any other native control. No changes are required for existing custom controls since the description of the control is contributed to a glass collection using an extension and only the authoring experience is affected.
