Changing options for all nicknames

Use the Change All Nicknames window to change the default nickname values of your data source tables and views. When DB2 populates the Nicknames column of the Create Nicknames window, it suggests a default naming scheme consisting of your user ID and the remote table or view name. You can use this naming scheme to create nicknames or you can change them.
Note:If you want to change the default values for a single item in the Create Nicknames window, select the item in the Create Nicknames window and click the Change push button to open the Change Nickname window.

These steps are part of the larger task of creating nicknames. When you complete the steps for changing nickname options, return to creating nicknames.
