Change All Nicknames -- Fields and controls

Use the Change All Nicknames window to change the values for all tables and views in the Create Nicknames window.

Schema

Use this box to change the value of the Nickname column in the Create Nicknames window.This value Use one of the following methods:

• Click the down arrow to display a list of schema values and select one.
• Click the down arrow and select Custom from the drop-down list. An editable box displays. In the box, type the name or schema value that you want to assign to the schema. This name can contain up to 30 characters.

Nickname

Use this box to specify the naming convention for the nickname.This value will be displayed in the Nicknames column of the Create Nicknames window. Use one of the following methods:

• Click the down arrow to display a list of nickname values and select one.
• Click the down arrow and select Custom from the drop-down list. An editable box displays. In the box, type the name or nickname value that you want to assign to the nickname.

The values that you select in the Schema and Nickname column are the first and second level qualifier used in the two-part naming convention for a nickname.

Fold

Use this box to specify the fold options that you want to use as the naming scheme for all nicknames. The option that you select (uppercase, lowercase, or none) will be displayed in the Nicknames column of the Create Nicknames window.
