Registering Service Offerings

All service offerings are registered in the organization's service registry. A unit of measure must be indicated for all service offerings. The unit of measure will depend on the type of service offering that is being recorded. For example, residential placement services should have a unit of measure of place. The unit of measure for non-placement service offerings include, but are not limited to, doses, treatments, and visitations.

Administrators can additionally specify whether the service offering is of a special condition type, where service offerings have other attributes that would necessitate them being treated differently in some way. For example, special conditions can be used to differentiate between secure and non secure types of service offerings.

Once a service offering is recorded in the administration application, resource managers can then associate the newly recorded service offering with any provider who offers the service to the organization's clients.
