Installing Mobile Portal Accelerator on a WebSphere Portal node not managed by a deployment manager

With this approach, you install IBM® Mobile Portal Accelerator on a stand-alone node prior to configuring the node into a cell.

This sequence of topics depicts the process of creating a new cluster (either horizontal or vertical) by setting up two separate WebSphere® Portal instances (WP01 and WP02) and then adding them to the deployment manager (DM01).

Note: If the node has already been added to the deployment manager, and the cluster has been established, refer to the topic Installing Mobile Portal Accelerator to an existing WebSphere Portal cluster.

Install Mobile Portal Accelerator on those instances and create the new cluster as described in the topics that follow.
