Updating the database password in Multi-Channel Server files

If the Multi-Channel Server (MCS) database password is modified or expired, you will need to update the appropriate MCS files.

The MCS database password is configured in the following files:

ImportPolicies.sh or ImportPolicies.bat
The ImportPolicies script or batch file is used to import a portlet's policies when a portlet is installed. The ImportPolicies file is located in the wp_root/wp.mobile/wp.mobile.mcs/repository/bin/ directory when MCS is installed with WebSphere® Portal.

To update this file, change the value of the -password parameter on the DEFAULT_ARGS line.
Note: When Mobile Portal Accelerator is used in a clustered environment, you must update the ImportPolicies file on each node in the cluster.
mcs-config.xml
The mcs-config.xml file contains the MCS configuration parameters.

To update this file, change the password attribute value in the anonymous-data-source element.
