You can create attribute based rules to show or hide portlets or pages for an individual or group of mobile users.
To customize your content across many different users and devices, you can use device-based attributes to show or hide a portlet from the user. A using device properties, you can apply rules, to render portlet based on device capability. For example, you can choose to show or hide a portlet by setting a rule to a value such as the device model. You can make the rule in WebSphere® Portal and apply it in IBM® Mobile Portal Accelerator
A rule defines the behavior or a portlet or page. If the rule conditions are satisfied then accordingly the page or portlet can be set to visible. WebSphere Portal includes several out-of-the-box objects for accessing the portal user database, portlet configuration data, request, session, and date information in rules. These inputs are often enough for a self-contained WebSphere Portal solution.
