Creating a rule

Begin personalizing the content users will see by creating a rule.

Procedure

  1. Click Applications in your WebSphere® Portal. In the Personalization tab, click Business Rules.
  2. In the Personalization Navigator portlet, click New.
  3. Click Rule.
  4. Name the rule.
  5. In Rule type, select Visibility rule.
  6. Click attribute*. Select MPA Device Attributes and then select attributes from the list.
  7. Enter the value for the attribute you selected.
  8. Click Submit.
  9. In the New Rule tab, click Save.
