Applying a rule to a portlet

After creating a rule in WebSphere® Portal you must apply the rule to apply it to a portlet.

1. Click Manage Pages.
2. Select the XDIME page where the portlet you want to make a rule for is located.
3. Click Edit page layout.
4. Click Show Portlet Rule Mapping.
5. Expand the No Role Mapped rule section for the portlet.
6. In the context menu, click Select Rule.
7. Select the checkbox for the rule you created.
8. Click OK and then OK again.
