The LOAD authority, in previous releases only available with DB2 Universal Database for OS/390, is now available for the DB2 Universal Database family. Users granted LOAD authority can run the LOAD utility without the need for SYSADM or DBADM authority. This allows users to perform more DB2 functions, and gives database administrators more granular control over the administration of their database.
