The USE OF TABLESPACE authority, in previous releases only available with DB2 Universal Database for OS/390, is now available for the DB2 Universal Database family. USE OF TABLESPACE authority allows users to create tables only in those table spaces that they have been granted access to. It also provides the administrators with more control over their database.
