Making changes to an active monitor

Use the Show Monitor notebook to make changes to an active monitor.

The status of the monitors indicated in this window reflects the status of those monitors on the local system not on the JDBC (Java Database Connectivity) server.

Authorities and privileges

To make changes to an active monitor:

1. Open the Show Monitor notebook.
2. Make changes on the fields in the Show Monitor notebook or in the various pages of the notebook.
   • Summary page
   • Details page
   • What page
   • Details Graph page
   • Thresholds page
   • Graph Settings page
3. When you make a change in the Show Monitor notebook, the change will be immediately applied to the running monitor.
4. To save the changes made to the running monitor, select Monitor --> Save.
5. To save the monitor and the changes made under a different name, select Monitor --> Save as and the Save As window will open.
