Use the Change License window of the License Center notebook to change the
license type policy on an installed DB2 product.

To change the license type policy:
- Open the License Center.
- In the System name field, select the
system for which you want to change the license type policy.
- In the Installed products field, select
the installed product for which you want to change the license type
policy.
- Open the Change License window of the License Center
notebook.
- Change one, or both, of the following license types:
- Select the Concurrent users check box to
enable the concurrent users policy. The concurrent users policy
controls and monitors the number of users that can connect simultaneously to a
single DB2 server. When using the concurrent users policy, in the Number of entitled users field, specify the number of
entitled users.
- Select the Registered users check box to
enable the registered users policy. The registered users policy
controls and monitors users, by user ID, that are allowed to connect to a
server. A registered users policy is typically used in an environment
with more than one DB2 server.
