Use this window to change the license policy, the number of concurrent users, the number of entitled users, the number of registered users, the number of licensed processors, or the enforcement policy for the specified DB2 product license.
User based
Use this radio button to enable the user-based policy. This policy measures license entitlements by registered or concurrent users.
Concurrent users
Use this check box to enable the concurrent users policy. The concurrent users policy controls and monitors the number of users that can connect simultaneously to a single DB2 server.
Number of entitled DB2 Connect users
Use this field to type the number of entitled DB2 Connect users.
Number of entitled users
Use this field to type the number of entitled users.
Registered users
Use this check box to enable the registered users policy. The registered users policy controls and monitors users, by user ID, that are allowed to connect to a server.
Measured usage
Use this radio button to enable the measured usage policy. This policy measures licensing by service units. This policy is available for DB2 Unlimited Connect products and the licenses under this policy are managed at the host.
Hard stop
Use this radio button to select a hard-stop policy. A hard-stop policy prevents license infractions; only the specified registered users and number of concurrent users can use the product. The concurrent users or registered users policies must be enabled before a hard-stop policy can be used.
Soft stop
Use this radio button to select a soft-stop policy. A soft-stop policy logs license infractions, but does not limit product use. The concurrent users or registered users policies must be activated before a soft-stop policy can be used.
Number of licensed processors
Use this field to type the number of purchased processor licenses.
