Use the Schedule page of the Schedule notebook to create one or more schedule patterns or instances for a process or for a step in a process.
To create schedule instances:
The Schedule list contains all schedules that are associated with the selected process or step.
Use the controls in the Occurs group box to create the schedule instances. A schedule consists of the Interval, Frequency, Start date and time, and End date. Depending on the type of Interval selected, the rest of the controls in the interface (the Frequency, Start, and End controls) can be disabled.
Select an interval from the Interval drop-down list. The default is Weekly.
From the Frequency field, select the frequency and day. The default is Every Friday.
From the Start date and time field, The default is the current date, at 10 o'clock in the evening.
From the End field, specify when to end the schedule: indefinitely or on a specific date. The default is to run indefinitely.
A calendar opens for the Start date and End date drop-down lists, defaulting to the current year, month and day. Scroll through the months and click on the day to define when the step or process is to start or end.
Click Add to add the schedule to the Schedule list. If you change any of the controls in the Occurs group box and click OK instead of Add, you will receive an information message indicating that you did not add any schedules and asking if you want to continue.
Optional: To change a schedule, highlight it in the Schedule list. The controls in the Occurs, Starts, and End group boxes change to reflect the content of the schedule selected. Make the appropriate changes, and click Change. The selected schedule instance in the Schedule list is updated.
Optional: To remove a schedule from the Schedule list, highlight it and click Remove. The selected schedule instance is removed.
Click OK to create the specified schedule patterns or instances.
