Use the Performance Configuration SmartGuide to calculate suggested configuration parameters.

Authorities and privileges

To configure the database:

1. Open the Performance Configuration SmartGuide.

2. Describe the server.

3. Describe the database, workload, and connecting applications.

4. Verify the recommendations.

5. Select Done to apply the suggested configuration files.
