Showing commands or SQL

Use the Show Command or Show SQL window to view or save generated SQL or a generated command.

There are several reasons to show a command or show SQL.

• You want to create a script from a single action to reuse at a later time. For example, you can save a script when you LOAD data and after making some changes to the script, schedule it to automatically run every Friday.

• You want to learn about the SQL command structure.

Fields and controls

To show a command or SQL:

1. Open the Show Command or Show SQL window.

2. To save the script, click Save script. The New Command Script window opens.

3. Click on the Close push button to the close the window.
