Finding a particular book

Use the Books page of the Information Center notebook to look up information that you know is in a particular book or to see what books are available. As you select a book, a description of its contents is displayed in the status line.

If the list is too long for you to find what you want quickly, you can use the controls on the right side of the window to search or filter the titles.

If you cannot find the item you want on this page, search all the information by clicking the Search button or go to the Books page to find where it is explained. If you are looking for a general topic, you may find it on the Reference page.

Some items in the list may not be present or may not work if the corresponding online information is not installed. You might need to install the database server online documentation, the online documentation for the Software Development Kit and DB2 Connect, and the Control Center with its online help.

• To download printable versions of the books, go to the Web page of the notebook.
• To navigate between books without coming back to the Information Center, follow the link at the bottom of each HTML file to the "home page" that lists all available books.
• To order printed copies of books, find the order numbers in the appendix "How the DB2 Library is Structured" that is found in most books.
• To look up a message, you may find it faster to use the Troubleshooting page than to look in the Message Reference.
