Performing a staged rollout of the production satellites

When you finish promoting the batches to production, you can begin to roll out the production satellites.

When you complete this task, you are finished Deploying a new group.

To perform a staged roll out of the production satellites:

1. Open the satellite details view.

   If you do not want all the satellites to begin executing the production batches, you can use a common characteristic that applies to a subset of the satellites to begin the roll out. Often, this characteristic will be a common value that is displayed under the Subgroup column.

   Note:

   You can use the Sort and Filter windows to change the satellite details view so that you only see the satellites that you want.

2. In the contents pane, select the satellite or satellites that you want to execute the production batches, and click the right mouse button.

3. Select Enable from the pop-up menu.

   The Enable Satellite window opens, which you use to enable the satellites.
