A number of Ant targets are provided to aid in the starting and stopping of WebSphere Application Server for z/OS servers. These targets should be executed from the <SERVER_DIR> directory and as for the configure target, they require the AppServer.properties file to be setup correctly (WebSphere Application Server Configuration). They also require a number of extra parameters to be specified and these are detailed below.
