In order to allow for full use of all CTM features, a setup procedure must be implemented. This procedure is described in the subsections that follow. It is recommended that the setup procedure is first trialled on a non-live duplicate of the production environment before it is carried out on the production environment. Furthermore, it is suggested that all of the activities that involve making changes to the production system are carried out during scheduled maintenance time, when the production system is offline.
