A goal can be broken down into a series of more manageable steps, the aim of which are to assist the client in achieving the overall goal. These steps are known as sub-goals. An administrator can link one or many sub-goals to a service plan goal. Sub-goals are categorized into sub-goal 'types'.
The Sustainable Employment goal, may have related sub-goals;Transportation, Childcare and Find a Job. Once these sub-goals have been linked to the goal, they can be selected by a case worker when a Return to Work service plan is created for a client whose goal is to gain sustainable employment.
