Screening a Client for Potential Eligibility

CCI provides flexibility to enable an intake worker to screen a client from a number of different areas in the application. The intake worker can screen for eligibility from the triage recommendations page. Alternatively, the intake worker can skip triage and go straight to screening for eligibility. Screening for eligibility is an optional step for the intake worker, he or she may decide to skip the step completely, or return to it at a later stage in the process. If an application has been received via the online portal, or in the mail, it's less likely that the intake worker would carry out screening for eligibility, as the client has already made the decision themselves to submit an application.
