Establishing a Case for an Application

When an application is created the intake worker has a number of options for establishing a case and processing the application. The agency can configure how each application situation is handled. There are three main options for the intake worker when establishing a case for an application:

Whichever option the worker takes, all of the application processing is done via the application, rather than the underlying case. The agency can configure whether the action to add an application or transfer an application to an existing case is available for intake and eligibility workers.
