Adding Training Credits

Training credits allow the CPM administrator to customize how provider members receive and are awarded for trainings that have been undertaken by provider members. A provider type and category can be specified. If no category and type are selected for the training credit, then the value entered will be treated as a default.

To illustrate: both a foster care provider member and a child care provider member may require a training program in early years child care in order to provide their services. However, the relative importance of the course may be different between the two provider members. The administrator can specify two different types of training credit for the early years child care training, one for the foster care provider member, and one for the child care provider member.

Note: Only one training credit per training can be specified for any one provider category and type combination. This allows the organization to ensure that all provider members in a certain provider category and type meet specific training standards.
