• User logs onto Internet

• User navigates to portal or the client’s website

• User goes to lodging section and gets specific

• User is now (unknowingly) getting pages (partially or fully) served by the client’s database

• Database checks availability of requested room

• Transaction executed if room available, innkeeper notified by email, fax or database update
