To download a copy of the IBM TPF Product Information Center with TPF 4.1 PUT 18 and TPFDF PUT 19 information, perform the following steps:

  1. If you do not have the WebSphere Help System (WHS):
    1. Go to WHS download page and download the WHS.
    2. Extract the files from the downloaded ZIP file to your hard drive (preferably to the root of your C drive).
  2. Click Download tpficv1r2_plugin.zip and select Save this file to disk to download the tpficv1r2_plugin.zip file. This file contains the product-specific plug-in files and is approximately 104 MB.
  3. Note: If you cannot download the file with Microsoft Internet Explorer, click Tools-->Internet Options, select the Advanced tab, and then select the Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem compatibility) check box under the Browsing topic.

  4. Click Download tpficv1r2_feat.zip and select Save this file to disk to download the tpficv1r2_feat.zip file. This file contains the primary feature and is approximately 101 KB.
  5. Extract the contents of the tpficv1r2_plugin.zip file to a temporary directory on your hard drive.
  6. Copy the directories (these are plug-ins) to the plugins directory of your WHS. For example, if your WHS is located in the root of your C drive, the plugins directory will be located at c:\WebSphere Help System\eclipse\plugins.
  7. Extract the contents of the tpficv1r2_feat.zip file to a temporary directory on your hard drive.
  8. Copy the directory to the features directory of your WHS. For example, c:\WebSphere Help System\eclipse\features.
  9. Edit the install.ini file (in the c:\WebSphere Help System\eclipse directory) and change the feature.default.id value to com.ibm.tpf.doc.
  10. Read section 1.1 of the readme.txt file for information about starting the help system.
