If you don't already have the WHS, you can download it at http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/download/search.jsp?go=y&rs=iwshs To view the information contained in these plug-ins, copy the plug-ins to the plugins directory of your WHS. For example, if your WHS is located in the root of your C drive, the plugins directory will be located at C:\WebSphere Help System\eclipse\plugins. The features directory on this CD contains the primary feature. Copy the contents of the features directory to the features directory of your WHS. (For example, C:\WebSphere Help System\eclipse\features). Then edit the install.ini file (in the eclipse directory, one level up from the features directory) by changing the feature.default.id value to com.ibm.tpf.doc. 1.1 Running in Help System (private server) Mode --------------------------------------- In help system mode, the IBM TPF Product Information Center runs on a random port number and, when started, automatically opens a Web browser to display the information. To start the IBM TPF Product Information Center in help system mode, open the WebSphere Help System folder on your machine and double-click the WebSphere_help_start.bat file. When you have completed browsing the information and close the browser, the help system continues to run in the background and consumes system resources. To correctly stop the help system, open the WebSphere Help System folder on your machine and double-click the WebSphere_help_end.bat file. ************ * 2.0 PDFs * ************ The pdfs directory on this CD contains documents in Portable Document Format (PDF).
