This guide provides background information that will help you to develop MCS policies for devices using Mobile Portal Toolkit, and work with both the original version of XDIME which was developed by Antenna Software for use with MCS, and a new version, XDIME 2.
XDIME 2 is recommended for new applications. The XML structures are more closely related to the W3C standards, XHTML 2 DISelect and XForms, and there are therefore many detail syntactical differences. XDIME 2 also allows you to make use of the Client Framework 1 and the Widget Library.
