Use the Virtual Portal Manager portlet to create and administer virtual portals.
When you create a virtual portal for IBM® Mobile Portal Accelerator, you must use the Mobile Portal Accelerator XML Access script (MWPInitVirtualPortal.xml) instead of the WebSphere® Portal XML Access script (InitVirtualPortal.xml). When Mobile Portal Accelerator is installed the Virtual Portal Manager configuration is modified to use the MWPInitVirtualPortal.xml script.
Also when you create a new virtual portal you need to make a number of planning decisions, such as which Multi-Channel Server (MCS) policy set to use. You can use either the default policies or a custom policy set. If you plan to use the default policy set you do not need to perform any additional configuration steps. If you want to use a custom policy set you must import the policy set into the MCS policy repository. After you have imported the policy set, update the mwp.properties file to indicate which policy set should be used.
