Exercise 3.5: Viewing account information

In this exercise, you will view the POP, IMAP and SMTP servers for your organization.

Overview

Users can access their SmartCloud iNotes® e-mail using a third-party POP or IMAP client. Users can configure a third-party e-mail client using the servers listed in the SmartCloud iNotes Account information.

As a user with the Administrator role, log in and navigate to the Administration panel. For detailed steps, see the procedure document: Accessing the Administration Panel.

Click iNotes.

At the bottom of the page, note the settings that would be required when configuring a third-party e-mail client:

Send the account information to users desiring to use a third-party e-mail client.
