In CICS Version 3.1, dynamic storage area (DSA) can be allocated above and below 16 MB. The DSA above 16 MB is called extended DSA (EDSA). The DSA size is specified in the CICS system initialization table parameters DSASZE and EDSASZE. The CICS default value for EDSASZE, 1,536 KB, might be too small to support QMF users. Increase EDSASZE to the range of 16 to 50 MB, depending on the number of concurrent QMF users. You might use 16 MB plus 1 MB for each QMF concurrent user.
