Creating users in the Mobile Devices Administration Center

You can define users to the Sync Server by creating users in the Mobile Devices Administration Center (see Creating users in the Mobile Devices Administration Center) or importing existing definitions directly into the base de datos de control de administración (see Importing user definitions from another source).

Procedure

  1. Open the Create User notebook.
  2. Identifying the userIdentify the user.
  3. Assigning the user to a groupAssign the user to a group.
  4. Setting passwords for the userOptional: Provide a password for the user.
  5. Filtering the data available to the userOptional: Filter the source data available to the user. The data filter that you specify for the user overrides the filter that you set for the group.
  6. Click OK.

After you create the user, the user must register his or her device as explained in Registering a device.
