Default JDBC drivers list

DB2 Everyplace includes default entries for some JDBC drivers that are already configured and ready to use to access data sources. If you use one of these drivers, you do not need to update the DB2 Everyplace control database before you create a JDBC subscription in the Mobile Device Administration Center. You can view these drivers in the Mobile Device Administration Center on the Create JDBC Subscription window.

Nota:

DB2 Everyplace dose not bundle these drivers. Make sure that you configure the driver that you are planning to use according to the documentation provided with each driver.

These include:

• For Informix, com.informix.jdbc.IfxDriver=Ifx
• For Oracle, oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver=Oracle
• For SQL Server,com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver=SQLServer
• For Sybase, com.sybase.jdbc.SybDriver=Syb
• For Lotus Domino, lotus.jdbc.domino.DominoDriver=Domino
• For Cloudscape, com.ibm.db2.jcc.DB2Driver=CS
• Remote AS\400 database, com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver=DB2 .

  For AS\400:

  1. Only com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver is supported

  2. DB2 Connect JDBC driver is not supported

If you need to use a different JDBC driver then one of the drivers supported by DB2 Everyplace you must perform an additional step before you can create a subscription in the Mobile Device Administration Center.
