Resource Model Reference
The TMW_ProcessHoggingCPU indication is generated from the
following indications:
- TMW_HighProcesses indication from the Processor resource model
- TMW_ProcessHighCPU indication from the Process resource model
This indication is generated when CPU has a high percentage utilization and
one or more processes use an unusually high percentage of CPU.
TMW_ProcessHoggingCPU has the following event properties:
- Process
- The name of the process with the highest CPU usage that is active on the
CPU.
- IDProcess
- The identity of the process with the highest CPU usage.
- Processor
- The CPU being examined.
- PercentProcessorTime
- The total percentage usage of the CPU.
- PrcPercentUserTime
- The percentage usage of the CPU that is being used by the process.
- PrcPercentPriviledgedTime
- The percentage privileged time of the CPU that is being used by the
process.
- PrcPriorityBase
- The base priority of the process.
- Severity
- The default value is critical.
