Resource Model Reference
The TMW_CongestedTCPNetwork indication is generated from the
following indications:
- TMW_NICOverworked indication from the NIC resource model
- TMW_SegmentsReXmit indication from the TCP/IP resource model
This indicates that the TCP/IP network segment that the originating machine
is on may be congested. Congested TCP Network is generated
when an indication of an overworked NIC and a high amount of retransmitted
segments are sent.
TMW_CongestedTCPNetwork has the following event
properties:
- NetworkInterface
- The identity of network interface card being examined
- SegmentsReXmitSec
- The number of segments retransmitted per second
- DGSec
- The number of datagrams transmitted per second
- SegmentsSec
- The number of segments being sent per second
- FragsToDGRatio
- Ratio of fragmented datagrams to total datagrams
- OuputQueueLength
- The length of the output queue
- NICBPS
- The bytes per second transferred through the network interface card
- CurrentBandWidth
- The bandwidth of the network interface card
- Severity
- The default value is warning
