Custom-defined macros enable you to combine Hyperion Essbase calculator functions into a single function, called a macro. Custom-defined macros can also include special directives, variables, and other macros. After you create macros, they can be used in formulas and calculation scripts just like native Essbase calculation functions.
Note: Custom-defined macros cannot include calculation commands.
