Supported Relational Database Management Systems

DB2 OLAP Server supports these RDBMSs:

• DB2 Universal Database Workgroup Edition Version 5, Version 6, and Version 7.1. The minimum DB2 Universal Database fixpack or DB2 level should be either 9044 or 9045, depending on your national language.
• DB2 Universal Database Enterprise Edition Version 5, Version 6, or Version 7.1. The minimum DB2 Universal Database fixpack (or DB2 level) on your system must be either 9044 or 9045, depending on your national language.
• DB2 UDB Extended Enterprise Edition Version 5, Version 6, or Version 7.1. The minimum DB2 Universal Database fixpack (or DB2 level) on your system must be either 9044 or 9045, depending on your national language.
• DB2 Database Server Version 4.0.1
• DB2 for OS/390^(R) Version 5.1 at service level 9802 and Call Level Interface (CLI) PTFs. Refer to the program directory for PTF requirements.

Additionally, you can access source data in other RDBMSs using ODBC.
