Copying a batch

Use the Copy Batch window to copy an existing batch to a new batch. The new batch is created as a test batch, and contains all of the batch steps that were in the original batch. All the batch steps in the new batch are test batch steps. The new batch is not assigned to a group.

Fields and controls

To copy an existing batch to a new batch:

1. Open the Copy Batch window.
2. In the Control database field, specify the satellite control database where you want to save the new batch.

   You can use the ... push button to display the list of available satellite control databases.

3. In the New batch name field, specify the name of the new batch.

   Note:

   If you specify the name of a batch that already exists in the specified satellite control database, you will be prompted to confirm that you want to overwrite the batch.

4. In the Description field, specify a description for the new batch.
5. Click OK.
