Adding a server option

Use the Add Server Options window to add server options for data sources defined in your federated system. The Add Server Options window displays a list options not defined to the server. To view a list of server options defined to the server, see Viewing server attributes.

To add a server option:

1. Open the Add Server Options window.
2. Specify the options that you want to add:
   • For each option that you want to add, select the check box next to the option name in the Option table.
   • If you want to change a setting, click on the value in the Settings column to display a list. Select the appropriate setting from the list and press Enter.
3. If you want to add a new server option not displayed in the Options window, click New, to add a new server option with the New Server Options window.
4. Repeat step 3 for any additional new options that you want to add.
5. Click OK to add server options to the list of existing server options.
