and to prune the messages log.

Information on this view
- Severity
- The severity level of the message. Valid values are:
- Informational
- Warning
- Error
- Date
- The date on which the message was generated.
- Time
- The time at which the message was generated.
- ID
- The message identifier, consisting of a three-character message prefix
followed by a four-digit message number. Valid prefixes are:
- CLI
- Message generated through the Call Level Interface
- DBA
- Error message generated by the Control Center and the Database
Administration Utility
- DBI
- Error message generated during installation and configuration
- DB2
- Error message generated by the command line processor
- SPM
- Message generated by the LU 6.2 Sync Point Manager
- SQL
- Error message generated by the database manager
- Message
- The message text.
