Changing column attributes with the Names method

Use the Change window to change the values of the column selected in the Table column box on the Columns page.

Fields and controls



To change import column values:

  1. Optional: Select or clear the Include column in table import check box. If you select the Include column in table import check box, data will be imported into the column displayed in the Table column field.

    You cannot change the value in the Table column field because you cannot change the column name in the target table.

  2. If the Include column in table import check box is selected, type the data column name from the input file into the Data column field.

  3. Click on OK to accept the changes and return to the Columns page.
