Table column
This field displays the name of the column that you selected in the Table column box on the Columns page. You cannot change the column name because names in the target table cannot be changed.
Include column in table import
Select this check box if you want to import data from the input file into the target column selected on the Columns page. If the check box is not selected, the column is not included in the import.
Column position
Type the numeric value of the column position in the input file into this field.
The column position indicates the position of a column in the input file that will be imported into the target column, displayed in the Table column field.
Examples
In the Table column box, you have the following row:

The input file contains the following columns:
CustNum | CustName | PurchDate |
The data from the CustName column in the input file is imported into the Name column in the target table.
Start position
Type the numeric value of the starting column location (for the data column in the input file) in this field.
The start position specifies the beginning of the data column in the input file to import into the target column selected in the Table column field.
End position
Type the numeric value of the ending column location (for the data column in the input file) in this field.
The end position specifies the end of the data column in the input file to import into the target column displayed in the Table column field.
Null indicator
Type the numeric value for the column location in the input file that specifies the null indicator into this field.
Data column
Type the name of the data column in the input file into this field.
The data column specifies the name of the data column in the input file that will be imported into the target column displayed in the Table column field.
