storage.

To alter a buffer pool:
- Open the Alter Buffer Pool window.
- You can perform the following tasks:
- To change the size of a buffer pool, type a new value in the Size in
pages field.
- To specify whether or not pages being migrated out of this buffer pool
will be stored in the extended storage, select the Use extended storage check box.
- Click on OK to alter the table space characteristics.
