Creating a target

Use the Create Target window to create an execution target.

Fields and controls

To create a target:

1. Open the Create Target window.

2. For the Alias field, use the ... push button to display a list of targets, then select one.

   When you specify the alias, the Type field is prefilled with the type of the alias, either an instance or a database.

3. For the Authentication name field, use the ... push button to display a list of authentication credentials that are stored in the Satellite Administration Center, then select one.

4. Click Test to verify that the authentication credentials that you specified are correct for the target.

5. Click OK.
