Changing a monitor

Use the Change Monitor notebook to change the attributes of one of the defined monitors.

The status of the monitors indicated in this window reflects the status of those monitors on the local system not on the JDBC (Java Database Connectivity) server.

Authorities and privileges

To change the attributes of one of the monitors that is defined for a system:

1. Open the Change Monitor notebook.

2. Make the desired changes using the fields in the Change Monitor notebook, the What page, the Thresholds page, and the Graph Settings page on the Change Monitor notebook.

3. Click OK.

Troubleshooting tips

• For IBM supplied predefined monitors, only the level for which the monitor is the default monitor can be changed, nothing else.
