Filtering tables for creating nicknames

Use the Filter Tables for Nicknames window to define a set of criteria for displaying tables in the Create Nicknames window. If you don't want to filter tables that reside at the data source, click Retieve All. This will cause all tables at the data source to be displayed.
Important:The time required to populate the Create Nicknames window greatly increases with the number of tables that you retrieve.

These steps are part of the larger task of creating nicknames. When you complete the steps for filtering tables, return to creating nicknames.
