From the Control Center window, expand the object tree until you find the
Nicknames folder under the Federated Database objects
folder.
Right-click the Nicknames folder and select Create
from the pop-up menu. The Filter Tables for Nicknames window
opens.
Click Retrieve All or specify a filter and
click Apply Filter to open the Create
Nicknames window.
Recommendation:
If your data source contains a large number of tables, use the filtering
criteria in the Filter Tables for Nicknames window to reduce the number of
tables displayed in the Create Nicknames window.
