If you do not install the national language version of MDAC 2.7 prior to installing the national language version of DB2, then DB2 installs English MDAC files by default. This causes the Windows ODBC Data Source Administrator panels to appear untranslated if your operating system is non-English. To fix this problem, you can install the "MDAC 2.7 RTM - Refresh" bundle from the Microsoft website at http://www.microsoft.com/data/download_270RTM.htm. Choose the language that you want to install, download the required executable, and run it. This will install the translated ODBC Data Source Administrator files.
