Do I need special fonts to make the barcodes work in DCF?

Answer

  DCF doesn't use barcode fonts to produce barcodes; they are drawn with
  rules.

  You need special fonts only if you want the HRI to be in a font other than
  the normal body text.

  Depending on the HRI attribute value, DSMBPROF will attempt to start
  special fonts (such as OCR, Gothic or Helvetica fonts) but will always use
  the body font as a last resort.
